A Freerthinking Initiative
Change Day
Change Day is a people led, accessible and energetic social movement for better health outcomes.
Freerthinking has been the engine behind Change Day Australia from the very beginning. We drew on social movement ideas from around the world to create a powerful community of health and social care workers and organisations that really want to create a safer and more people centred future.
The first Change Day was held on 6 March 2014 in Australia.
We have developed the expertise and the networks to create social change movements and ventures that capture the imagination and commitment of people and deliver large scale change.
In 2016 Mary Freer was awarded a Westpac Bicentennial Social Change Fellowship to further her work in the social change space.

“There is so much opportunity to create positive change in our health and social care system. But we need to realise how enormously powerful we all are and harness that ability and power to create better outcomes for our clients and patients”
